Hochanda seminar and screen test.

Had a fabulous day yesterday at Hochanda, completing the seminar and screen test to become a demonstrator for Artisan Design.

Backgrounds and More release

Good morning. Today's the day, so I am sharing all of my samples for Pete's shows on Hochanda at 11am and 2pm, where he will be demonstrating his Backgrounds and More Collection. The collection consists of four background stamps, two texture stamps and two faces. He will also have both Sentiment Banquet sets four stencils and the Butterfly Dancer mdf on the show.

The girl with balloons.

My latest art journal page using a Bee Crafty Banksy image with stencils from Artisan Design and stamps from Clarity.

I created the background using a brayer and my Amsterdam acrylic inks.

Then added some clarity texture stamps and more layers using two Artisan Design stencils.

I then stamped the girl with balloons image using versafine clair black ink.

Until you spread your wings

Good morning sharing a card made using Bert and Gerts Dance Like No One is Watching and Hearts and Flowers background stamp sets.

I created the background by putting paint along the top of a piece of card and sprayed with water, whilst tipping the card to encourage the paint to run. When it was dry I added the background stamp.

I stamped and coloured the image, then fussy cut her out and glued her to the card using glue gel to give a three dimensional effect

Butterfly Dancers MDF

Good evening sharing five projects made using the four mdf kits that are available from Artisan Design. The kits are Ayva, Ophelia, Jorjie and Mason from the Butterfly Dancers. Along with other products from Artisan Design.

Let your dreams give you wings to fly.

Good morning sharing a card made using the brand new Geoframe mask from Artisan Design with a sentiment from their Sentiment Banquet 2 and both of the small butterflies from their Butterfly Supreme 2 stamp set.

I placed the mask centrally on an 8x8 card blank and using a blending brush with three shades of green ink, I blended it across the whole card begining with the darkest in the centre out to the lightest outside the mask.

I then stamped the sentiment using another darker shade of green.

Finally I added the two butterflys, one above and one below the sentiment.

Believe You Are Strong

Good morning sharing a mixed media canvas made using the Damask background stamp with the fairy image and sentiments from the Believe you are strong stamp set from Bert and Gerts.

I created a background using a gelli plate and ink. I then stamped the damask background.

I added the fairy and words. I mounted this on green card.

I painted the canvas, metalic and resin embellishments with black gesso. I then glued the image and embellishments to the canvas.

Finally I added gold and silver wax to the embellishments.

Good morning sharing the cover of an art journal I have made using the new backgrounds and more release from Artisan Design. For this make I have used the Hoopla and Acer Burst stamps with a sentiment from the Sentiment Banquet 1 set.

Good morning sharing a card made using the Sunspits stencil from Artisan Design's new release Backgrounds and More.

The release contains four new stencils/masks, four background stamps, two texture stamps, two faces and to A5 sentiment stamp sets. 

I have used one of the sentiments from the Sentiment Banquet 2 set on this card.

Good morning sharing a mixed media canvas made using some of February's release from Artisan Design. I have used the new background stamp Acer Burst and Rebby, one of the two new face stamps, with the sunburst stencil. Breathe your love in whispers

Good morning sharing a card made using the February release from Artisan Design. I have used the Circle-ate background stamp with a sentiment from the Sentiment Banquet 1 set.

To create the black panel I used a blending tool with pink and yellow distress oxides to create a background. I then stamped the circle-ate stamp using versamark ink. I embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then covered the entire piece with black versafine clair, then wiped it over with kitchen towel to remove any ink on the embossed area.

Sharing my first sample using Artisan Design's February release. For this card I have used the Exploding Mums stamp to create the background and a sentiment from the Sentiment Banquet 2 set.

Good morning sharing  an art journal page. I used Artisan Design's Love Wordage stamp, with their Sisal Butterfly stamp and their Primrose Burst stencil to create it. I have also used some Samantha K mdf.
