Cleverprints - Fly High

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing how I made this layered card using products from Cleverprints Ltd.

To begin blend Prize Ribon and Salvaged Patina distress oxide over a piece of 6 x 6 mixed media card. Splat with water, by spraying water onto your fingers and flicking onto the card. Leave to work for a little while, then pat dry.

Stamp, using Versafine Clair Nocturne, the large flower from the Fly High stamp set four times, but leave out the outer ring each time.

Colour the flowers with Ecoline markers and a waterbrush. Only colour the parts that will be seen. Cut out and ink the edges with a black pen.
Return to the background and using the rectangles and lines background stamp, stamp it with Versafine Clair Paradise ink, three times so that part of it will be hidden by the flower.

Stamp the sentiment in the top right corner using the same ink.
Mat the background onto blue card, then a 7 x 7 card blank. Add the flowerand the layers using either foam pads or glue gell.

Shady Designs by Louise Sims

Hi everyone, today I am sharing how I made this journal page using the first release from Shady Designs bh Louise Sims.

Take three of the strips from the sheet in the paper pack. Cut them at an angle to create two pieces from each strip. Glue to a piece of card that is 10 1/4 by 7 1/2 inches.
Take the This Way That Way stencil and add Ranger Grit Paste through areas of it and leave to dry.

Stamp the large design from the Pattern Parade stamp set twice on watercour card. Colour with watercolour markers and a waterbrush, then cut out the desired areas of the image. Ink the cut edges with a black pen.

Glue these to the background.
Add the bubbles from the Painted Mixings stamp set using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide and the dangles from the Gather Together stamp set using Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide.

Brush Prize Ribbon distress oxide around the edges of the whole piece.

Stamp five butterflies from the hanging around stamp set and the sentiments from the Pattern Parade, Painted Mixings and Gather Together sets on a new piece of card. Colour then cut them out. Add black pen around the edges of all the pieces.
Glue the sentiments in place, then add the five butterflies at different angles.
