Seth Apter stamps and dies

Hi everyone,  today I'm sharing an art journal page created using products that I got from Art Inspirations. They have a wide range of Seth Apter dies and stamps.

To begin I cut one of my wet strength tissue gelli plate backgrounds to fit the page. I had used Art Inspirations Nature Prints Circles Print and Leaf Fall stamps on the gelli plate with acrylic paint to create this piece.

I stamped the Frame Ups 3 and Turnarounds 3 stamps, using Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves, on to a piece of watercolour card. I springled TCW color sparks crimson, sepia and olive green on to the images and spritzed with water. I left this to work and dry before cutting them out.

I added an eyelet to the centre of the circle image.

I die cut two of the fence die, from Borderline die set, out of dark brown card.

I used a wet glue to add the square image to the page.

I then cut the two die cuts so that I had four pieces and glued them to the page.

Next I used foam pads to add the circle piece.

Finally I added a sentiment from the Clarity Stamps Words Stickers by Leonie Pujol.

Three small abstract art pieces

Hi everyone today I'm sharing a quick guide to creating these three small abstract art pieces.

For the first piece I loosly applied green acrylic paint to a page in my 4" art journal.  I added some scribbles using a yellow green Neocolor II crayon, which I blended out with a waterbrush. I added some asemic writing using a cobalt blue Neocolour II crayon and blended slightly with my finger. I cut some shapes from an offcut of gelli print background I had previously created and stuck them to the page. I used a stencil brush to apply black gesso through a small circle stencil. After this had dried I drew around the shapes with a black posca and added white posca marks on the black circles.  I added black zig-zag lines with a fineliner and added white gesso circles using an old electric toothbrush head.

For the second piece, I had cleaned my stencil from the previous page on this page, so I added a couple of drops of orange and pink ecoline liquid watercolour to the page and spritzed it with water. I left it to dry naturally. Next I added white gesso through a numbers stencil and added white and gold posca pen mars to finish the page.

For the last piece, I began by gluing a couple of pieces of old book page to my page. I added Dina Wakley Media mustard and sunshine acrylic paint and left it to dry. I then applied black soot distress ink through my chosen stencil and left this to dry. I added two scrible lines using an Aquirellable black pencil. I then added white marks using a ehite pisca pen. To finish I used a red pencil crayon to add asemic writing.

Zouki Poppie Tag

Hi everyone,  today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this tag using products from AALL and Create. 

To begin I die cut the two parts of the tag and the largest butterfly. 

Then I created a mask for the flower from the Lovely Coquelicots stamp set. I used a post-it note.

Next, I stamped the flower and the small circular stamp, beginning in the middle and working out. I used the mask to when appropriate. 

I used the circles stamp to add colour to the background.  I used seedless preserve and broken china distress ink for this.

Next, I glued the two layers of the tag together.

Then, I die cut the Bursting Buds die out of white card and glued it to the tag. 

On separate card, I stamped the Zouki Poppie stamp, then I coloured her and cut her out.

Then I cut the butterfly in half and glued it to the back of the Zouli Poppie image.

I added foam tape to the back of the Zouki Poppie image and added her to the tag.

Finally I added a sentiment from the Words Stickers by Leonie Pujol.
