Valentine's Card

Hello today I'm sharing how I used stamps from Mama Makes to create this Valentine's Day card.

Take a piece of 4x6 inch card and create a background by spritzing with Pearlywinks Wink Vibe and Pearl Mist sprays. Leave to dry.

Stamp the Heart from the August Stampscription Box using Versafine Clair Chianti ink and colour with pencil crayons and then cut out.

Using the letter stamp from the April Stampscription Box and Versafine Clair morning mist add detail to the background.

Stamp one of the A6 textured circle stamps, using Villainous Potion distress ink, diagonal across the background.

Add a puece of black netting across the centre of the background.

Glue the background to a piece of black card, then to a 5x7 inch card blank. Add the heart across the netting, using glue gel to raise it from the background.

Stamp the sentiment, cut it out and ink edge. Glue under the heart.

Products Used:

In the Garden - Clever Prints

On a piece of 9 x7 inch mixed media card, blend the three distress inks. Spritz your fingers with water and flick over the blended background and leave to dry.

Stamp the three patterned butterflies and the sentiment onto another piece of mixed media card using Versafine Clair nocturne ink.
Colour them with watercolour pens.

Fussy cut out the butterflies. Trim the sentiment and edge the with black ink.

Return to the background. Using wild honey distress ink and the flower fall stencil add some detail to the background. Then repeat but using mustard see distress ink with the amazeballs stencil.

Using the two worker stamps that match the dies, with the two distress inks, add more depth to the background.

Using versafine clair nocturn stamp the stitched border stamp to add more depth.

Die cut a selection of the dies from the abstract geometry set from black card.
Arrange the die cuts and butterflies on the page, then stick down. Add the sentiment.
Using black ink stamp the silhouette butterfly several times to fill any noticable gaps.

Silhoutte

How to create a card using Mama Makes stencils.

Create a background using the head in the clouds stencil. Place the stencil at an angle and using a Harmony blending tool gently brush ink up onto the card from the stencil.
Repeat, with a second and third colour, turning the stencil as you go. Ensure the colour you are working with does not touch the bottom of the colour above. Continue until all the card is covered.
Place the torn paper stencil on the card and very carefully edge around the card with black soit. Mask of the words on the stencil if you wish.
Using the cosmic dreams stencil and black soot ink stencil the balloons, then the girl.

Ink up the typed text stamp with black soot ink, stamp on to a spare piece of card, then stamp onto your project.  Repeat twice more.

Stamp your chosen sentiment from the  December Stampscription box, cut out and edge with black soot ink.

Assemble the card, by gluing your piece  onto a card blank.
