Zouki Poppie Tag

Hi everyone,  today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this tag using products from AALL and Create.
To begin I die cut the two parts of the tag and the largest butterfly.
Then I created a mask for the flower from the Lovely Coquelicots stamp set. I used a post-it note.
Next, I stamped the flower and the small circular stamp, beginning in the middle and working out. I used the mask to when appropriate.
I used the circles stamp to add colour to the background.  I used seedless preserve and broken china distress ink for this.
Next, I glued the two layers of the tag together.
Then, I die cut the Bursting Buds die out of white card and glued it to the tag.
On separate card, I stamped the Zouki Poppie stamp, then I coloured her and cut her out.
Then I cut the butterfly in half and glued it to the back of the Zouli Poppie image.
I added foam tape to the back of the Zouki Poppie image and added her to the tag.
Finally I added a sentiment from the Words Stickers by Leonie Pujol.

Nature Prints and ZinskiArt

Hi everyone today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Art Inspirations Nature Prints,  Texture Backgrounds and their ZinskiArt Sign to Shine stamp set.
To begin, create a background by blending salty ocean distress oxide in the centre of the page in an 8x8 inch journal. Then blend uncharted mariner distress oxide around the edges of the page. Next spritz with water and pat dry with a piece of kitchen towel.
Next stamp the nature print circle print stamp centrally using Versafine Clair twilight ink.
Then place the branch part of the Nature Prints Silhouette Flower stencil override the stamping. Using some watered down Kuretake Gold Sumi Mica Paste, with a dipping pen, draw around the inside of the branch and leaves. When done, wash the palette, pen nibs and stencil immediately as the paste can not be reactivated when dry.
To make the branch stand out more, place the mask part of the set over the image and gently brush black soot distress oxide from on the mask onto the page to create a shadow effect.
Stamp the border, from the Texture Backgrounds stamp set,  using Versafine Clair twilight ink,  in the top right and bottom left of the page.
Using the floral cluster, from the ZinskiArt Sign to Shine stamp set, with Versafine Clair Arctic ink, add around the edges of the page to give the background another layer.
On separate card,  stamp the standing silhouette,  from the Sign to Shine stamp set, using the twilight ink pad. Cut out leaving no border.
Add the silhouette image to the page and using a chipped sapphire distress crayon a ground for her to stand on.
Add a sentiment from Clarity Stamps Words Stickers by Leonie Pujol to finish the page.
Here's another look at the finished page.

The Sound of Spring

Hi everyone,  today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using LuMania's The Sounds of Spring mixed media book and sticker collection.

To begin, I chose a backing paper, which I cut to fit in my black art journal, so that it left a border around it. I used matte medium to glue it in.
Next I chose some ephemera from the Mixed media book and cut it out, leaving a small white border.

Then I chose a few stickers from the sticker pack and roughly cut them out. As they are on a clear background you don't need to to be as accurate with cutting them out.
I, then, arranged them on the page and glued them in place with a mix of foam tape and wet glue.
Finally, I added the sentiment sticker to a piece of white card, cut it out and used foam tape to add it to the page.
Here's another look at the finished page.

Tree Home

Good morning today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using products from Art Inspirations.
To begin, I  sponged yummy yellow and lippy lime vivid ink through the never-ending link stencil.
Then I used Lisa Horton's Cloud 9 Margarita ink to stamp the large rectangle from the Leonie Pujol Textures on the Block stamp set.
Next I used Lisa Horton Picked by Paula Georgia Moss ink to stamp the four squares stamp from the Textures on the Block stamp set several times.
The I used the Lisa Horton Anthracite ink pad to stamp the small lines stamp from the same stamp set.
Next, on separate card,  I used Versafine Clair nocturne ink to stamp the tree home stamp. I coloured it with the Kuretaki Gansai Tambi Granulating 3 and Graphite watercolour paints. I added white pen highlights. I cut it out and glued it to the page.

Then I stamped the Border stamp from the Texture Backgrounds stamp set using Lisa Horton Margarita ink.
I used a black fineliner to add a scribbly border to the page.
I decided the background needed more, so I stamped the small circles stamp using Versafine Clair nocturne and coloured some of the circles with white pen.

Finally I added a sentiment from the Leonie Pujol Words Stickers Collection.

Make Art. Make Magic.

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using products from Funky Fossil and Clarity Stamps.
I began by tearing three strips of the pink striped paper, from the Stand Tall paper pad, and glued them to a page in my 8x8 dylusions journal.
Using just one layer of the Going Dotty 2 layer stencil set, I added dots and circles randomly to the background. I used Lisa Horton's Cliud 9 Anthracite ink.
Using the Don't Be Cross stencil with Lisa Horton's Cloud 9 Shocking Pink ink I added some crosses to the page. Next I cut out three pieces of the numbers from the Clear Impressions The Eclectic Edit transparencies and used Cadence Bond and Seal to add them to the page.
I then stamped the lady, from the Smell The Roses stamp set, and the three different individual hearts, from the Clarity Stamps Altered Hearts by Leonie Pujol stamp set, on to cream card. I cut these out leaving a small border.
I added these to the page using foam pads to raise them from the background.
I added one of the sentiments from the transparency pack.
Finally I added some white pen dots and splats to the page.
