Dutch Doobadoo Roladex Cards

Hi everyone,  today I'm sharing three roladex cards I have created using products I purchased from Art Inspirations.

To begin, I  spritzed the three Dutch Doobadoo roladex cards with water. I then added drops of Lippy Lime and Poppin' Pink Vivid Inks, from Art Inspirations, and sritzed lightly with more water. I left this to dry naturally.

Using the AALL & Create circles stenci with seedless preserve distress oxide I added different parts over the three cards.
Next, using the sentiment from the Got Giggles stamp set and seedless preserve distress oxide, I stamped 1st and 2nd generation versions on to one of the cards. I already had the two girls from this set stamped and coloured, so I added them to the card. To finish it I edged with Dahlia Purple Versafine Clair ink. I added the Best Fishes sentiment using Versafine Clair nocturne.

For the second card I had the character, books and flowers already stamped and coloured. Before adding these to the card I stamped the stories sentiment over the card using Versafine Clair Verdant ink and edged the card with the same ink. I also added a sentiment using Versafine Clair nocturne ink.
For the last one, I edged it with Daliah Purple, then stamped the Sisters in Spirit sentiment using seedless preserve distress oxide. I then added one of the characters from the sisters in spirit stamp set and the True Besties sentiment.

Stash buster art journal page.

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using lots of products from my crafty stash.
To begin, I used matte medium to glue an old technical manual book page to a page in my 11 x 11 Pink Pig art journal.

I then rubbed festive berries distress oxide directly on to Art Inspirations Autumn stencil, spritzed with water and pressed it down on to the page.
Next, I coloured the Samantha K Geo Circles chipboard piece with iced spruce distress ink. I left this to dry.
I cut out part of an old Simplicity Sewing Pattern and using the arrows from the Dylusions Dyalog Border-it stencil with iced spruce distress ink I added arrows to the pattern piece.
On separate card,  I stamped Bee Crafty's Doodle Art Cone Flower using Versafine Clair nocturne ink.  I coloured it with distress inks.
Then I cut it out.

I also chose a piece of mirror ribbon, a different old book page and some black sisal to add to the page.
I used matte medium to glue these to the page.
I blended festive berries distress ink around the edge of the old book page.
Next I added the cone flower, using matte medium.

Finally I added a sentiment from the Words Stickers by Leonie Pujol.

Mixing Old and New

Hi everyone today I'm sharing an art journal page created using the brand new stamps and stencil from Louise Simms and Art Inspirations and older Shady Designs by Louise Sims stamps and stencils. I know when Lou designed the new stamps she hoped they would work with her older ones and I think I've proved they do.
To begin with, I added three areas of peeled paint distress oxide and then added three areas of salty ocean distress that overlaped the peeled paint.
Next, I blended peeled paint through the Squared Up stencil then I spritzed the stencil and dubbed it on to the page. I also blended salty ocean through the Moroccan Trellis stencil.
Then, I blended black soot distress oxide through the Film Strip stencil.
I, then, blended peeled paint through the hanging garden stencil.
After that,  I  stamped the Be A Square stamp using Salty Ocean distress oxide.
I stamped the hanging garden stamp using peeled paint distress oxide.
Next, I stamped all the images using Versafine Clair twilight ink. I coloured them with Kuretake Zig Clean Colour pens, then cut them out.
Then, I added them to the page using foam tape on some and tucking others under them.
Finally, I added a sentiment from the Be Not Afraid paper pad.

I, then, painted the flowers and leaves with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors watercolour paints.
Next, I glued a strip of torn book page across the centre of the stamped image.
Then, I added some cream sisal.
After that, I added a puece of blue mirrored ribbon.

Scribbly Bear Tag.

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a tag created using stamps and stencils from Dina Wakley Media.
I began by creating a background using fuchsia and watery acrylic paints.
Next I sponged sapphire acrylic paint through a part of the feel your magic stencil.
Then, I stamped the large branch using Versafine Clair Monarch ink.  I mixed fuchsia and sapphire paint to create a purple and added some water to dilute it. I used this to paint the leaves.
Then I added some of the triple squares stamp using morning mist Versafine Clair ink.

On separate card,  I stamped the tall bear using Versafine Clair nocturne ink.  I painted him with watered down sapphire paint, then added splats of sapphire and the purple I created for the leaves.
I glued the tag to a piece of black card and trimmed it to give a small border.
I added the bear using foam pads.

Finally I added some ribbon and lace, using a staple to keep it in place.

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using products from Dina Wakley Media,  that are available from Art Inspirations. I have also used a Dylusions Dyalog stencil and a Bee Crafty transparency print.

To begin I used a flat paintbrush to apply sunshine, minty and raspberry Dina Wakley Media acrylic paint to the page.
Next, I used matte medium to adhere a strip of Text collage paper to the painted area of the page.
Then, I used a stencil brush to apply minty acrylic paint through the leaves on the Dylusions Dyalog Border it stencil. I then applied sunshine acrylic paint through part of the Dina Wakley Media ladders stencil.
After that, I added a piece of the Backgrounds collage paper, by Dina Wakley Media, using matte medium.
Next, I painted a piece of white card with raspberry acrylic paint. When it was dry,  I used matte medium to glue one of the Moths, from the Flying Things collage paper pack, to it. I, then, cut it out and glued it to the page, using a foam pad to raise it from the page.
