Be-leaf in your self

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using two sets of stamps that I bought from Personal Impressions and mixed them with some Shady Designs stamps .

To begin I stamped the main image,  from the Postcard, Leaves, Flowers and Post Mark stamp set, directly on to a page in my 5 x 5 inch journal using Versafine Clair nocturne ink.

Next, I added three circles and three of the lines and circles from the Blooming Circle stamp set.
Then I coloured around the image using the lavender woodless watercolour pencil. I used a wet paintbrush to blend the ink out from the image.
Next, using a wet paintbrush I took colour from the tip of purple watercolour pencil and added a drop shadow to the image.
I then coloured the circles and stamp with the yellow watercolour pencil and blended it out with a damp paintbrush.
On separate card,  I stamped the same image and some of the flowers and leaves from the Blooming Circle stamp set. I coloured them with the watercolour pencils and cut them out.
I then used matte medium to adhere them to the page.
Finally I stamped and cut out the sentiment.  I edged it with pink ink and added it to the page.

Art Inspirations Samples

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing some of my samples for the new release from Art Inspirations, the fabulous Indian Dreams collection designed by Leonie Pujol.

For my first sample I used the Peace Elephant stamp which I coloured with a mix of Polychromos pencils and acrylic paint pens. For the background I used distress oxide inks in worn lipstick, fossilised amber and seedless preserve through the floral mandala stencil.

For my second sample I used weathered wood distress ink through the Indian Collage  stencil on to a background created using picked raspberry, shaded lilac and scattered straw distress ink. I stamped word peace from the Peace Elephant stamp set across the background using morning mist Versafine Clair ink.  I stamped the larger Henna Pattern stamp directly to the background with Nocturne Versafine Clair and coloured it with Zig Clean Colour pens. I then stamped the Henna Dragonfly on separate card, coloured it with the same pens and cut it out and added to the card.

For my third sample I created a background using the Lippy Lime, Poppin Pink, By Jove Blue and Yummy Yellow Vivid inks, then added fossilised amber distress oxide through the Pebbles stencil. I stamped the smaller of the Henna Pattern stamps with nocturne Versafine Clair ink and added a sentiment from the Henna Dragonfly stamp set.

For my fourth sample I used the larger of the Henna Pattern stamps to create a background. I stamped it using Warm Breeze Versafine Clair ink. I then blended peacock feathers distress oxide over the edges of the background. I stamped the Peace Elephant directly on to the background as well as on a piece of separate card. I coloured the image with glitter gel pens. I cut out just the elephants face and glued it over the stamped image on the background. I chose a sentiment from Tim Holtz's Small Talk and added it to the page.

For my final sample I created a background using yummy yellow, poppin pink and by jove blue vivid inks. I stamped the Henna Dragonfly twice, making sure the antenna touched and coloured them with glitter gel pens. I added a border and sentiment from the Peace Elephant stamp set.

Gear up for Christmas

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using Stamperia's Gear up for Christmas Junk Journal and rub-on kit.
To begin, I cut a puece of background paper to fit my A5 journal and used matte medium to glue it down.
I then added the holly border rub-on down the left hand side of the page.
I added two presents and the car stickers to the page.
I pushed out two of the tags, two of the images, one of the snow globes and several gears. I used an emery board to remove the pips. I added twine to the tags and glued the images to them.
Next, I added these to my page.
I then added another rub-on, with words, today the top right hand corner.
Finally I added a border strip to the bottom of the page.

Tag Inspired by Lou Sims

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this tag which was inspired by a blog post by Lou Sims. https://lulucardmaking.blogspot.com/2025/10/5-creative-ways-to-use-distress-crayons.html
To begin I scribbled areas of the three colours of distress crayons. I then blended these using my finger.
I then placed the stencil, from Lu Mania, over the tag and rubbed a wet wipe over it to remove some of the colour on the tag. This was left to dry.
Next, I stamped the Winter Wishes stamp over the tag using strawberry Versafine Clair.
On separate card,  I stamped the Winter Wishes and Festive Finery stamps, using Versafine Clair nocturne ink. I cut out the word Winter and the bauble. I coloured the bauble using distress crayons with a damp paintbrush.

I used a clear glue to stick the word Winter over the stamping at the bottom right of the tag.
Finally I added the bauble and used a black fineliner pen to draw the string and a bow.

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using products from Stampers Anonymous and Tim Holtz.
To begin I edged the page with scorched timber distress oxide.
Then using the circles part of the stencil, from the Autumn set, with rusty hinge, carved pumpkin and candied apple distress oxides add to the background.

Stamp the oak leaf in the four corners of the page using Fallen Leaves Versafine Clair ink.  Change the orientation to fit each corner.

On separate craft card, stamp two oak leaves, one sycamore leaf and the largest frame using the Fallen Leaves onk. Colour the leaves with watercolour paints. Cut everything out.
Glue the frame to the page, then added the leaves. Raise the central one by using foam pads.
Stamp the bird and then cut out.

Moths

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Bee Crafty's brand new Moths stamp with other products from my crafty stash.
To begin I spritzer a hessian page in my Dina Wakley journal with scorched timber distress oxides spray.

Next I tore two vertical strips of the jumbled letters collage paper and used matte medium to glue them to the page.

I tore two pieces of old paper and added them to the page.

Then I tore two pieces of the grid collage paper and added it to the page.

Next I tore out two of the words from the text collage collage paper and added them to the page.

Next I added a die cut Frame. I left the page to dry thoroughly.

I stamped the three largest Moths on to watercolour card using Versafine Clair nocturne. I coloured them with distress oxides and then cut them out.

I used matte medium to glue the Moths to the page, using blobs behind the largest to raise it off the page.

I then added the snip art trellis, tucking  one end under the wings of the raised moth.

Finally I coloured the back of the transparency print with a white posca pen, cut it out when it was dry and glued it to the page.
