Art Inspirations samples

Hi everyone today I'm sharing the samples I created for the latest release from Art Inspirations. There were two stunning stamp sets, a stencil and a paper pad in this release. One stamp set was designed by Leonie Pujol and the other by Sylvia Allen.

My first sample was created using both new sets. I stamped the large circle using hawthorn rose versafine clair ink. I then inked around the outside of it with salty ocean distress oxide. I stamped the two border stamps using twilight versafine clair ink, then added the trees using three green versafine clair inks. Finally I stamped the sentiment. 

For my second sample, I created a background by wiping stormy sky distress oxide over the stencil and spritzing with water. I pressed this down on my card, removed the stencil and left it to dry. I stamped a selection of the smaller circles using versafine clair twilight onto separate card. I coloured some of these using Personal Impressions Woodless Watercolour Pencils. I also stamped the pine tree using rainforest versafine clair. I cut these out. I then edged the background piece with mermaid lagoon distress oxide before stamping two of the border stamp and the small group of circles on to it. I then used matte medium to glue my cut out pieces to the piece, varying the levels. Finally I stamped the sentiment several times using twilight ink. 

For my third sample, I stamped the large circle using versafine clair strawberry ink so that some was over the edge of the card. I then added other circles using versafine clair twilight directly over the original stamping. I also added one of the borders and the fence posts using the same ink. I used a black pen to edge the piece of card before sticking on a card blank. The sentiment is from the Zinski Art Just Be me stamp set (also available from Art Inspirations).

For my fourth sample I began by tearing a piece of paper to create hills. I placed this approximately halfway down my piece of card and blended  stormy sky distress oxide from on the paper up the card to the top. I then removed the paper and blended crushed olive distress oxide over the remaining white area. Next I stamped the two ground stamps using versafine clair nocturne.  I added the trees to these. I then stamped the sentiment and added hand drawn birds in the sky.

For my fifth sample, I  began by blending spiced marmalade, wild honey and mustard seed distress oxide over a piece of card. I placed the stencil over this and blended spiced marmalade through it. I then stamped the trees using versafine clair strawberry ink. I added one of the borders and circle stamps using versafine clair summertime ink and another border with nocturne ink. I added several of the sentiment using strawberry ink. 

For my final sample I beganby creating a background using the lippy lime and poppin' pink vivid inks. Next I stamped the largest circle several times of the edge of the piece of card using versafine clair verdant ink. I then placed the blobs stencil over the piece and spritzed through it with seedless preserve distress spritz. I stamped the three smaller circles with hawthorn rose versafine clair.  I added the border using twilight versafine clair, then added the trees to the bottom right corner. For the sentiment I stamped the circle on to a selection piece of card and added the sentiment stamp to this. After cutting it out I used matte medium to glue it to the card.
