Stencils, stencils and more stencils

Hi everyone today I'm sharing a page where the majority of the products used are stencils.
To begin I used a pencil to draw through the Bee Crafty Inkables heart easy frame.

I then used my Himi Gouache paints to add colour to the page.
I added black soot distress ink through the arrows of the Dylusions dyalog stencil border it.
Next I added a row of circle at the top and bottom of the page using Dylusions A Stitch in Time small stencil with black soot distress ink.
I then used a black sharpie to draw over the pencil line of the heart. I also added some lines to the page using a Bee Crafty dinkable from set 8.

Next I added some text to the page using versafine clair charming pink through Bee Crafty's Text 6" inkable. I also added fots by blending versafine clair warm breeze through Bee Crafty's Perspective Circles inkable.
Finally I added a sentiment using the Walk Your Own Way transparency prints from Bee Crafty.

Tracy Evan's - Insects

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Tracy Evan's latest release.

To begin I wiped some tumbled glass distress oxide onto a piece of acetate. I then spritzed it lightly with water. Next I dabbed it onto my page.
I repeated this with uncharted mariner drying the colours before adding the second.

Next I spritzed the page with tumbled glass distress spritz and left this to dry.
I stamped the Art Background stamp using versafine clair twilight ink.
I stamped the large element from the insect stamp set using twilight ink.
I then added the leafy branch from the insect stamp set using twilight ink.
Next I added two of the small insects from the set using the same ink.
On seperate card I stamped the larger image from the set using versafine clair bali blue ink and cut it out. I glued it over the corresponding part of the page.
Finally I added a sentiment from the Les Sentiments pack from AALL & Create.

Hug in a Mug

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Julia McNeil Designs  Hug in  a Mug Collection.

To begin, I created a watercolour background using a light blue and two shades of pink Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints.

Whilst the background dried, I stamped the characters that I required, onto a separate piece of card, coloured them with watercolour pencils and white pen. Then I cut them out.

Now that the background was dry, I could stamp the  stars from the Iced Coffee stamp set using salty ocean distress oxide.

I decided there needed to be more in the background, so I've used the evergreen berries stencil with worn lipstick and tumbled glass distress oxide to add more detail.

I then glued the characters to the page and added a sentiment from the Iced Coffee stamp set.

Products used:
Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolour paints
Distress oxide - salty ocean, tumbled glass, worn lipstick

Thank you for taking a look.

Rodrigo Assi Stamps

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Art Inspirations new Rodrigo Assi stamps.
To begin I created a blended background using the antique linen, lost shadow, black soot and hickory smoke distress oxides. Then I blended black soot distress oxide through the explode stencil.
On separate card, I stamped the Ghost from the Boo! stamp set and the cat from the Magic is Withon Us stamp set using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I then cut them out.

Next, use the ghost as a template to line up the lines and bats stamp, so that it is mostly above the ghost head then stamp using versafine clair nocturne.
Next, I stamped the two spiders web stamps, using the ghost to help me line them up and get them in the correct position.

I stamped the spider under the right-hand side web and used a black pen to draw a line from the web to the spider to make it look like it was hanging.
Next, I glued the ghost and the cat to the page using PVA glue.
I used a pumice stone to distress crayon to ground the cat and as a ghost floats it did not need grounding.
I then added the small hanging spider, from the Magic is Within Us stamp set, and extra bats, from the Boo! stamp set, to the page to add to the background.

Next I added the boo! and the I don't fear sentiments to the bottom right of the ghost.

Finally I added to the shadowing to the ghost using the pumice stone distress crayon and a wet paintbrush.

Products used:
Art Inspirations - Rodrigo Assi Boo! stamp set
Art Inspirations - Rodrigo Assi Magic is within us stamp set
Distress Oxides - Black Soot, Antique Linen, Lost Shadow, Hickory Smoke
Versafine Clair - Nocturne
Distress Crayon - Pumice Stone

Thanks for taking a look.

Curious Wonders

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Julia McNeill Crafts Curious Wonders Collection.
To begin, cut the background paper to 18cm by 13cm and glue it to a page in a black paged journal.
Add areas of the sprinkle suite stencil using milled lavender distress ink.
Next, cut out the A6 topper with the tea pot. Run a black pen around the edges, then glue to the background.
Then cut out the character from the smaller version of this topper.
From one of the papers cut out 6 of the flowers and choose one of the sentiments and cut out.
Glue the character to the bottom left of the tea pot topper.
Add the flowers. Create a group of three in the top left corner. Add two more to the one on the right edge of the topper and place the corner one over the feet of the character so it sits in the bottom left corner.
Add the sentiment.
As I felt the sentiment didn't stand out enough I used a black sharpie to add a line around the edge of each part.

Products used:
Black Sharpie
Distress Ink Milled Lavender

Thank you for taking a look.
