The White Rabbit Stamp Company

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using the new stamps from The White Rabbit Stamp Company with watercolour paints, acrylic markers and watercolour pencils.
To begin, I created a watercolour wash background using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors paints. I then splatted the blue part with plain water to give the effect of clouds in the sky. Leave to dry.
On seperate card I stamped the house, flowers and snails. I coloured these with a mix of the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours, Polychromos pencils, Personal Impressions watercolour pencils and Uhuhu acrylic markers. I then cut them out.
When the background was dry, I stamped the trees and pathway onto the page. I coloured these with the watercolour pencils, polychromos pencils and acrylic markers.
Next, I glued the house, flowers and snails to the page. I added scribbled grass under the trees using acrylic markers and white highlights using a thin posca pen.
Finally I stamped one of the sentiments on to the page using Versafine Clair nocturne ink.

Mushrooms

Hi everyone,  I really live mushrooms and when I saw TIMESTAMPS Creations new release, I just knew I had to combine them with Bee Crafty's mushrooms stamp set.
To begin I stamped two columns of the positive mushroom tile down a piece of craft card using portobello versafine clair ink. I then blended portobello ink around the edge of this strip.
Next I blended portobello ink around the three outer edges of my sketchbook page.
Next I glued the mushroom strip to the left hand edge of the page.
I then blended brushed corduroy distress oxide through Bee Crafty's metal work alpha inkable on to the right of the page.
Next I blended scorched timber distress oxide through the chevron texture disc from set 2 on to the page.
I stamped the circles border, from the mushroom stamp set around the edge of the page with portobello ink.
Using the swirl stamp, from the mushrooms stamp set, with portobello ink, add to the corners and centre of the page.
On seperate card,  stamp two of each of the mushroom stamps with portobello ink. I coloured them in with Personal Impressions woodless watercolour pencils and posca pens, then cut them out.
Next I glued them to the page and added white pen work.
Finally I added two of the Autumn B Wordy sentiment stickers and added a white border and dots to them.

Nature Prints

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Art Inspirations Nature Print Collection.
To begin, I cut my background puece to the correct size for my journal. It is a piece I created on my gelli plate using the Nature Prints Texture Element stencils with Fired Brick distress oxide ink.
Having cut my Leaf Fall stamp in to individual stamps, I stamped two of the smaller ones onto my background using spiced marmalade and gathered twigs distress oxide.
Next place the birds stencil over the stamped leaf area. Mask of the areas not needed and blend scorched timber distress oxide through the bird on a branch.
Carefully pisition the burd on a branch so that a second bird is sitting on the same branch as the first one. Mask off areas not needed and blend the same ink through the stencil.
Then add the other branch on the stencil several times on both edges of the card using brushed corduroy distress oxide, then edge the piece with scorched timber.
Glue the piece into an art journal and add a sentiment from Claritystamps Word Sticker Collection by Leonie Pujol.

Catalyst Collage Papers

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using Bee Crafty's catalyst collage papers.
When I'm using the catalyst collage papers any off cuts from a project get stuck in an A5 journal that I keep on my craft table for this purpose. Today, as the page was full, I decided to use it as a background.
To blend out all the different edges of the pieces of paper, I used my finger to apply and spread white gesso over the page.
Next I applied picked raspberry and spiced marmalade distress oxide ink through the rectangle and crosses inkable tag from set 3.
I then cut out my chosen image from the A5 Painted Gaze catalyst collage pack.
Using matte medium, I glued the image to the left hand side of the page.

To create a shadow effect around the image, I used mermaid lagoon distress oxide with a wet paint brush to paint around it. I smudged this paint out with my finger, so there were no harsh lines.
Having chisen a Transparency Prints Walk Your Own Way  sentiment and cut it out I painted over the back with a white posca pen. This makes the words stand out against the background. When the paint pen was dry I glued it to the page.
Products used:
White gesso
White pisca pen
Distress Oxide - mermaid lagoon,  spiced marmalade,  picked raspberry

Butterfly Style

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a card made using products from Julia McNeil Designs.

To begin, I blended twisted citron distress ink through the harlequin part of the Harlequin Scribbles stencil onto a puece of six inch square card.
Next I blended picked raspberry distress ink through the random script stencil.
I then stamped the word metamorphosis, from the wings of change stamp set, using peacock feathers distress ink.
Next, I stamped the three crosses, from the butterfly style stamp set, using picked raspberry distress ink.
On seperate card, I stamped the face, clock and butterfly and 2 small butterflies using Versafine Clair nocturne ink. I coloured them with distress watercolour pencils in the same colours as the background and tattered rose, antique linen and worn lipstick, then cut them out.
Next, I went round the edge of the background piece using a black pen before sticking it to a seven inch square card blank.
Next, I glued the stamped images to the background.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Clair directly onto the card.

To begin I stamped the S M TINKERMAN stamp, from the Stampers Anonymous #16 stamp set, with Brushed Corduroy oxide ink. I then stamped Horlogerie stamp, from the Papillon set, over the rest if the page with the same ink.
