If you stumble

Hi everyone,  today I'm sharing an art journal page created using products from Mama Makes.
To begin, I created a background using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi granulating watercolour paints set 1.
To build the background, I used the entwined circles stencil, from the Natalie's Textures stencils set, with Villainous Potion distress ink.  I also spritzed the ink left on the stencil and applied this to the page.
Next, I applied picked raspberry distress ink directly to the circles stencil, from Natalie's Textures stencils, spritzed it with water and pressed it to the page.
Then I stamped the coffee stain  (discontinued stock) stamp using seedless preserve distress ink.
Next, I stamped areas of the small script (discontinued stock) stamp using Villainous Potion distress ink.
On seperate card, I stamped the girl, from the Make a Wish stamp set, using Versafine Clair nocturne ink. I coloured her with a mix of distress watercolour pencils and polychromos pencils. I then cut her out.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Make a Wish stamp set and cut it out. I edged it with a black pen.
Finally I glued both the girl and sentiment to the page.

TIMESTAMP Creations

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a set of three ATCs made using TIMESTAMP Creations newest releases.

To begin I cut 3 pieces of kraft card to 3.5 x 2.5 inches and 3 pieces of white card to 3.25 x 2.25 inches.

I smooshed stormy sky distress oxide on to a blending mat and spritzed with water. I then dipped all three pieces of white card in to the ink. I dried this with a heat gun.

I repeated the above step twice more, once with shabby shutters distress oxide and once with mustard seed distress oxide. Drying between layers.

Next, I blended shabby shutters distress oxide through the middle part of Dolly Dimples' square trio stencil.
Then,  I blended stormy sky through the film strip stencil from Dolly Dimples/Shady Designs.
I, then, stamped the corner foliage stamp,  from the Bird Snapshot stamp set, using rustic wilderness distress oxide.
On seperate card, I used Versafine Clair nocturne ink to stamp the photo cell, from the Grungy Frames stamp set, six times. I then roughly cut them out.
Using the dotty stamp, from the Grungy Frames set, and rustic wilderness oxide I gave each cell a simple background.
I, then, used Versafine Clair nocturne ink to stamp different images, from the Friends are Always Together stamp set, in to each cell. I didn't worry if the went over the edge of the frames.

I cut each film cell out and glued 2 to each of the background pieces.

Next, I glued these to the kraft card.

Finally I added both the sentiments from the Friends are Always Together stamp set.

Two company mash up!

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using two different companies products. I just love to mix up different companies products.
To begin, I cut the Bee Crafty Catalyst Collage paper to fit my art journal page. I used matte medium to stick it to the page.
Next, I cut out my chosen ephemera from the LuMania Meaningful Memories Mixed Media Book.
I then glued a small piece of corrugated card to the back of the bird. This raises it from the page, but squashes down when the book is shut.
I stuck the bird to the page using matte medium.
Next I added the other pieces of ephemera using matte medium. I cut out an extra piece from the book and added some off cuts of the reverse of the ephemera page.
I cut out and added two leaf transparencies from A5 mixed leaves pack.
Finally, I added a sentiment from the Wordy Stickers 3b which I cut down a little.
Here's another look at the finished page.

Enjoy the Moment

Hi everyone today I'm sharing an art journal page created using a mixture of different companies products. I love having some me time to just play with whatever I grab from my crafty stash.
To begin, I sprayed the page with list shadow and pumice stone distress oxide spray. I left this to dry.

Next I blended weathered wood distress oxide through one of Bee Crafty's texture discs from set 2.

On seperate card I stamped the large clock from Bee Crafty's Wasted Time  stamp set. I cut it out and lightly blended list shadow distress oxide over it.

Next, whilst using the clock to help with positioning, I stamped leaves and swirls, from Shady Design's building blocks, celtic square and celtic circles stamp sets, directly on to the page.

I then cut out some ephemera and a sentiment from Ciao Bella's  LuManua Quintessential Mixed Media book.
Finally I glued the click, ephemera and sentiment to the page and added three cogs.

JMC Designs Woodland Dwellings

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using one of JMC Designs new Enchanted Forest release with some of their older stamp sets.
To begin I created a simple watercolour background, which I left to dry.
Next, I stamped the images I wanted to use and coloured them with my polychromos pencils. See product list for stamp sets used.
Then I cut all the images out.
Next I used matte medium to glue the images to my background.
I used distress watercolour pencils and a wet paintbrush to add shadowing and to blend cut edges into the page.
I added some of the grass stamp from the My Deer stamp set, usin peeled paint distress oxide ink. I felt this stood out to much so blended it more into the page with a damp paintbrush.
Then, I added highlights with a white posca pen.
Finally I stamped and cut out the sentiment from the Woodland Dwellings stamp set and added it to the page. I added a border to the sentiment using a fineliner.

LuMania Urban Blue Denim

Hi everyone today I'm sharing an art journal page created using the new LuMania range from Ciao Bella. For this page I've ussd the Urban Blue Denim mixed media book.
To begin, I used matte medium to glue one of the vellum papers to the page. As the matte medium I used was quite wet, I got several wrinkles in the vellum, but I'm not worried about that as it adds another texture to the background.
I then chose the ephemera I wanted to use from the Urban Blue Denim mixed media pad and cut it out. The bird came from one of the papers in the pad and I kept some of the bits of paper that I cut from around it.
Now the matte medium was dry, I applied ground espresso distress oxide through the Enigmatic Essence stencil and fadd jeans distress oxide through the Beaded Curtain stencil to add depth to the background.

Finally I added the ephemera to the page using matte medium.
I hope you like what I have created and here's a list of the products I've used.
