Meaningful Memories

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using Ciao Bella products.
To begin, I cut a strip of the text paper to fit approximately half the page and glued it in place with Cadence Matte Bond and Seal. When this was dry I edged the page with Hickory Smoke distress oxide.
Next I cut out the face and glued it to the page.
Then I cut out three flowers and a butterfly and added them to the page.
I then coloured just the face using my distress watercolour pencils.
Finally I chose a sentiment and glued it to the page.

Moths

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Bee Crafty's brand new Moths stamp with other products from my crafty stash.
To begin I spritzer a hessian page in my Dina Wakley journal with scorched timber distress oxides spray.

Next I tore two vertical strips of the jumbled letters collage paper and used matte medium to glue them to the page.

I tore two pieces of old paper and added them to the page.

Then I tore two pieces of the grid collage paper and added it to the page.

Next I tore out two of the words from the text collage collage paper and added them to the page.

Next I added a die cut Frame. I left the page to dry thoroughly.

I stamped the three largest Moths on to watercolour card using Versafine Clair nocturne. I coloured them with distress oxides and then cut them out.

I used matte medium to glue the Moths to the page, using blobs behind the largest to raise it off the page.

I then added the snip art trellis, tucking  one end under the wings of the raised moth.

Finally I coloured the back of the transparency print with a white posca pen, cut it out when it was dry and glued it to the page.

Next I blended Antique Linen distress ink around the edge of the page.
I then cut out some of the ephemera from the book.
I then glued the ephemera to the background.

Dina Wakley Collage Papers

Hi everyone today I'm sharing an art journal page created using Dina Wakley collage papers.
To begin I spritzed the page with waterand sprinkled 3 different pixie powders on it. I spritzed it a secknd time with water and left it to dry naturally.
Whilst it was drying I ripped a long, thin strip and two smaller rectangles of the grid collage paper. I also ripped a long strip of the jumbled alphabet collage paper. I then used matt medium to adhere them to the page.
When the matte medium was dry, I freehand stamped some of the script background stamp, from Bee Crafty, ising Versafine Clair nocturne ink.
Using a damp paintbrush, I drew round one of the moths, from the Flying Things collage papers, and then carefully tore it from the sheet, following the water line. I used matte medium to adhere it to a piece of card.

I edged this with a black pen before gluing it to the page.
Finally, I added one of the wax seals that were in my homework pack from Leonie Pujol.
