Tickets and Butterflies

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page created using products from Mama Makes and Bee Crafty.
To begin draw through the ticket stencil to create 5 tickets, then cut them out.
Using a micron fineliner pen, draw round near the edge of the tickets to give them a frame.
Use the stamps, with Versafine Clair nocturne ink, to create different ticket types.
Using a Harmony tool, blend vintage photo distress oxide over the tickets.
Blend peeled paint and vintage photo on to the page. Add peeled paint to the centre of each ticket.
Blend vintage photo through the inkables tag from set 6 and peeled paint through the 6" distressed diamond inkable.
Glue the tickets to the page.
Stamp 3 of the larger butterflies on to a seperate piece of card, colour them with peeled paint distress oxide and cut out. Edge with vintage photo.
Glue the butterflies to the page and stamp4 of the small butterfly direct to the page using Versafine Clair nocturne.
Add the sentiment.

Design Team Mash-up

Hi everyone today I'm sharing an art journal page created using stamps and stencils from both the design teams I'm on. Bee Crafty and Doly Dimples/Shady Designs.
To begin, cut out 5 of the panels from the greyscale A5 catalyst card front cover sheet, and 4 from the corresponding full cover sheet.
Edge with Gathered Twigs distress oxide and glue to a piece of card. Trim to size and edge with Scorched Timber distress oxide, blendig some over the joins as well. Glue to a page in an A5 journal.
Next, using Dolly Dimples Angle Leaf stencil with Brushed Corduroy distress oxide, add some leaves and diamonds to the page.
Next use Portobello Versafine Clair ink with Bee Crafty's smaller Coffee stains and numbers stamps.
Stamp 2 of the film cell, from Shady Designs Frame by Frame stamp set, using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto a piece of the catalyst card. Add the smaller of the stemed flower from Bee Crafty's Journaling Essentials 5 using Versafine Clair Glamorous ink. Cut out the frames.
Add more to the background by stamping the diamonds, from the Frame by Frame set, using Versafine Clair Glamorous. Stamp off the page first to give second generation stamping on the page.
Glue the film cells to the page and add a sentiment from Bee Crafty's Ticker Tape 3.

Floral Art Journal Page

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using products from Shady Designs by Louise Sims.
To begin, create a background by blending seedless preserve and villainous potion distress oxide ink over two corners. Then add seedless preserve through the Moroccan Trellis stencil. Spritz the ink on the stencil with water and press on to the page.
Using Versafine Clair nocturne ink, ink the right hand vertical edge of the building blocks stamp and stamp on to the page, then ink up the other edge and stamp on the page. Repeat with both edges again.
Add text to the page using the text stamp from the Oh! So Circular stamp set with both of the distress oxides used for the background.
Stamp a mix of leaves, flowers, birds, butterflies, tickets and dangly Moroccan tiles (see below for stamp sets used) using a mix of both the distress oxides and VersafineClairNocturne ink. Colour the tickets by wiping a damp paintbrush across the stamped image. Use the oxides with a paintbrush to colour the flowers. Cut everything out.

Glue the ephemera to the page and add a sentiment from the A5 Celtic Whispers Sentiment Collection.

She is Full of Colour

Hi everyone, I'm obsessed with Natalie May Scrapbooking collage papers at the moment and love how they mix with products already in my stash. Today I'm sharing a double page spread in a 5 inch watercolour paper journal.
To begin, I spritzed the page with picked raspberry distress oxide spray and whilst still wet I splattered Dina Wakley blackberry gloss spray on to it. I left this to dry, then added some picked raspberry distress spritz.
Next I die cut, from black card, 2 of each of the hearts and circles from the AALL & Create Heartnook die set.
I glued the image, from the Natalie May Scrapbooking She is Full of Colour collage sheet, to a piece of white card. I did the same with the small words that name the sheet. I cut both out.
Then, I stamped the small malva flower, from Tracy Evans' Malva stamp set, 7 times. I coloured them using my Ecoline pens and cut them out.
Using Versafine Clair nocturne, stamp the text and the c-shaped stamp directly on to the page. I've stamped one upside down, but am not worried that the text is upside down as most will be hidden by the die cuts.
Glue all the elements to the page using a mix of foam tape and wet glue.

Tracy Evans - Malva stamp set
AALL & Create - Heartnook dies
