Collage papers

Hi everyone  today I'm sharing an art journal page created using collage papers and other items from my crafty stash.
Begin by using a wet paintbrush to help tear out a piece of thefull text and three black circles of text from two of tbe sheets from the Just Words pack of Dina Wakley collage papers.
Glue these to the page using matte distress collage medium.
Add two of the word sign elements from the Text Collage pack and ablock of six of the people from the Hearts pack. Using the same technique to remove them from the sheet and the same glue.
Spritz with picked raspberry and twisted citron distress spritz.
I had a piece of black and white card which had flowers on it, in my stash, so I cut out one of the flowers and glued it to the page.

Products used:
Dina Wakley Media Collage Papers - Just Words, Text Collage, Hearts
Distress Spritz - picked raspberry, twisted citron
Flower from a piece of card in my stash

Dolly Dimples Harmony

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using Dolly Dimples Harmony stamp set and other products.

I had a page in my art journal where I had cleaned my Circles Layers stencil. I had used it with the peacock feathers distress spritz on another project. I used a black sharpue to draw a border around the inky area.

On seperate card I stamped the Harmony stamp, one large butterfly and two small butterflies from the Festival Dollies Harmony stamp set. I coloured them with distress watercolour pencils and cut them out. I then glued them to the page.
Finally I added a sentiment from the Celtic Whispers Sentiment Collection.

Products used:
Distress Watercolour Pencils
Black Sharpie

Thank you for taking a look.

La Vie en Rose

Good morning, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to how I created this art journal page using papers and rice papers from Stamperia.
To begin I created two areas of white gesso. These were approximately square.
Next I decide which elements I wanted from the La Vie en Rose rice paper. To remove them from the sheet I went around each one with a wet paintbrush and then carefully tore them out.
Then I cut some elements out from the House of Roses paper pad.
I returned to the background and applied picket fence distress ink through the Bee Crafty text 6" inkable.
I added the rice papers using distress collage medium.
I added texture paste for some dimension. I used Bee Crafty's 6" distressed diamonds inkable.

I added white splats using the tube inside the Dina Wakley white gloss spray.

I then added the elements I had cut out from the paper pad, but decided not to use the tag, but some flowers and leaves from another paper in the pad.

Finally I added a Bee Crafty Transparency Prints sentiment from the Creative Words sheet.
Products used:
White gesso
Stamperia 8 x 8 pad House of Roses
Bee Crafty Inkables - text, distressed diamonds
Creative Muse smooth texture paste
Dina Wakley gloss spray white

Hug in a Mug Collection

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this card using Julia Mcneil Designs new Hug in a Mug Collection.
Cut a strip of the striped paper to 1 inch by 8 3/4 inches and a piece of the spotty paper to 4 1/2 inches by 8 3/4 inches. Glue them to an A5 card blank, overlapping slightly.
Cut out two of the flower pairs from the paper in the pad.
Decide on the ephemera from the bit box bits pack.
Decide on the composition by placing on the card.
I felt the flowers needed leaves so I stamped both the tea stains stamps on to the green strip from the paper where I cut out the flowers then cut them out.
Glue everything in place and stamp the sentiment from the Frosted Marshmallow stamp set vertically in the top left side of the card.
Products used:
Versafine Clair nocturne ink

Thank you for taking a look.
